Hello! I am a work-from home jewelry designer, living with my husband Patrick in Jersey City near Hamilton Park. I spend most of my days at home, but if I am not at home I frequently go to Liberty Park to go biking or running. My husband & I want a dog one day, but we do travel often and are not sure if we’re ready for one just yet. But I would love to care for yours, as I’d definitely be able to give your dog plenty of attention and love. I grew up with all animals: dogs, cats, lizards. I am the person on the street that will recognize your dog before you, and I love the idea of spending time with your dog outside. I have a lot of energy, so I am up for any challenge. We live in a 3-bedroom elevator building, 6th floor sunny apartment. Since there’s two of us, that’s double the hands caring for your sweet pup. Absolutely loved how well Katie and Patrick took care of our dogs, who can be very anxious at times. She sent updates every day and her positivity and reassuring messages really allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing our pups were in great hands! We also had to extend the boarding due to a delayed flight and Katie really worked with us to make it work even though she had conflicting plans.
Katie was fantastic! She answered very promptly and made sure to accommodate Maru as close to his usual schedule as possible :) looking forward to asking her to watch Maru again! Thanks for the enthusiasm!
Highly recommend Katie! We left our dog in her care for 4 nights and he had a great time! This was our first time leaving him with a sitter and couldn’t of asked for a better experience. Katie provided daily updates, took him on many walks, and made our Buddy feel right at home. :)
Katie took care of my 14 month dog for one evening, and was very accommodating and communicative. She was very flexible with drop off/pick up timing and sent me a number of pictures during his stay. I will absolutely book with Katie again, and would recommend her to others looking for a responsive, caring sitter.

A typical day
I live close to Hamilton park, so I would love to take your dog on a walk there. I do run, so if they would be up for it, I could go on a jog with them through Liberty Park, a short drive away. Or I have tennis balls, and a frisbee and would love to play with your dog.
