Pet care experience
I've taken care of pets since I was around 4 years old. My family has always grown up with animals, whether that be dogs, cats, chickens, turtles, bunnies, hermit crabs, hamsters, guinea pigs, and lizards. I've always been the 'animal lover' in the family and gained the responsibilities of these pets at a young age. Once I was in high school, I started working for my mom's friends to pet sit. I've mostly only dog sat, but I do have my own cat so I understand how to take care of cats as well! I walk, feed, play with, and hang out with others' pets to make them feel as loved as they can while their owner is busy or out of town. :) <3

Katie is amazing! Prompt, friendly, goes above and beyond. Highly recommend. She did wonderful care for our senior dog.
Katie has been wonderful with our dogs. She spent most days with them cuddling, talking, and cleaning up from their messes without complaint. They LOVED her. It made the travel so much less stressful knowing someone was with them loving them.
Katie was excellent with the puppy and kept in touch and was very flexible in my return. I will definitely book with her again and would recommend her highly.

I typically work at my clients' home only because I am a college student living in an apartment and there's not a lot of room a dog can move around there. I've dog and house sat a lot with past clients and I make sure to not only take care of their animals, but their house as well. I've watered plants, cleaned up messes, and kept lights off as well as securely locked up their home once I left.

Let me know if there's a specific time you feed your dogs and how much food to give them! Also let me know if your dog dislikes certain activities, as well as what their favorite activities/games/toys are!
A typical day
If your dog is social and wants to play with other furry friends, the Cal Anderson dog park is nearby my apartment! Or the Seattle University has GORGEOUS open areas a dog can run around in. Other than that, I would love to explore this new city I call home now, and what better way to do that than with a furry friend. :)

Availability
I just moved to Capitol Hill and am looking to transfer jobs nearby. I currently work in Redmond at the moment and don't get back home until around 3pm. I'm free all day Wednesdays and Sundays! Once I transfer to a job in the area, my availability will be more open!
