Pet care experience
I grew up with GSP dogs in the house, I helped with all dog related responsibilities including training (obedience and bird pointing/flushing), walking, grooming, basic care, and of course spoiling. In high school and college I regularly pet sat for family and friends; any pets from cats & dogs, to rabbits and rats, to a small herd of goats. Now that I’m a mom myself we have 2 standard poodles, and two indoor cats. Everyone is well trained, and constantly spoiled with love and attention.

At home we are on .4 acres in a subdivision, our back yard is completely fenced with a 6ft privacy wood fence. We also crate train at home, but at night you better believe all the fur babies are in some human’s bed. We also do a breakfast and dinner feeding, possible small treats during training sessions or as rewards for special behavior. At your home, it depends on what you need. I have leash trained many dogs (harness/vest, collar, prong, etc) so walking should not be a problem, I have a personal distance limit of 2 miles, but I’m more than happy to have active play near your home (ball throwing, dog park, frisbee, rigorous continuation of agility commands you’ve already started, etc). Most visits will probably start with a “hi I’m here welcome, a quick potty, a snuggle, and then we’d continue to what is requested or needed; end with another potty and cuddle, then head out.

I love to cuddle on animals, so please be upfront about any ways your animal does not like to interact with humans, this will help me ensure they are having as wonderful of a time as with me as possible.
A typical day
I love to be with all animals, and I understand different pets have different needs. Of course everyone gets a potty break and a cuddle, but some need a good run while others need mental stimulation with hiding scent toys or food puzzles. My favorite walks are at parks or forest preserves, but of course we can still have fun around a neighborhood, or in a yard.

Availability
I’m a stay at home mom, so ideally I’d like to help out other families while my kids are in school. Tuesday to Thursday, 12pm to 3pm. I might be able to open this further to include Fridays and/or weekends, but there is a high possibility id have kids with me, so please take that into account.
