Pet care experience
I’ve had family pets for about ten years including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and parrots, all of which were truly not just pets but part of the family. Due to this love of animals, I volunteered in a cat shelter near my family home for three years and often took care of the pets of family and friends and neighbours. Recently, I was employed for three weeks as a live in dog and cat sitter for a family holidaying in Spain.

Katie is the biggest animal lover! At any event she’ll go straight to the dogs and they love her so much they won’t want anyone else. We even have a grumpy cat that loves her! She’s one of the only two people he’ll let stroke him most of the time. She’s genuinely really lovely, kind, caring and will take amazing care of your pets, as if they’re her own :))
Kate has cared for my three dogs and one cat for years along with my children. She’s a very loving and caring person, to both kids and animals, and really makes sure to keep up the highest quality of care. She’s always been very flexible and reliable and the kids and the animals adore her. There’s no one i’d trust more to pet sit for me.

I can be a bit of a softie with animals, so lots of love and affection and care. I’m happy to spend a lot of time playing, going on walks or cuddling on the sofa. I previously worked as a nanny (for human babies) so I’m quick to pick up routine and can easily follow rules set by the families I work for.
Information Katie F. would like to know about your pet
I have no preference for certain breeds, athletic types, ages etc. My own family dog has severe allergies so I’m used to dogs that require a little more care and medication. Ahead of time I’d like to know a dogs temperament, allergies and activity level.
A typical day
I like to do all types of games and fun activities in a day, I have been known to take my own dog to fun places like a dog swim centre and for pampers. I’m happy to play in the garden and go on long walks, and I’m quite athletic so I can keep up with running and throwing toys, as well as tug of war. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies or food restrictions because I do like to get a pup cup on occasion.

I currently work part time on a placement from university, which is remote, so I have a lot of free time and am quite flexible.
