Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs in multiple settings for many years, including dog daycare, veterinary clinics, and within my own dog sitting business. I was trained in administration of various medications while working as a veterinary assistant and I was also trained to handle play groups of up to 15 dogs as a daycare assistant at a dog daycare. I am a highly active person so whether your dog likes to relax and enjoy a slow walk or laying in the sun or they need a brisk walk or run to get some energy out, I can oblige. I currently have open availability and can accept doggies at any time, either walks or in-house visits. I really look forward to meeting your 4-legged family member:)

Katie is an awesome and experienced dog sitter. She took great care of our pup and was always helpful and in touch throughout the weekend. I was at ease that our dog was in good hands and I would reccomend her to anyone who wants the best for their four legged friend.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Katie! She literally went above and beyond on every measure. We were going to drop our dog off at her place to stay, but were limited on time so she went out of her way to meet us halfway and make sure that things were easy for us! My husband and I have never used Rover before, so were a little nervous of what to expect. Katie literally went above every expectation!!! She not only tired our dog out (which is damn near impossible to do, he's a puppy) but treated him so well! I've never seen Griffin so tired. BOOK HER!!! She's a rare find and will make sure your dog is not only taken care of but happy and sleepy!
Katie loves all animals, and whenever we went somewhere new the first thing she would find is the pet! She’s always up for a nice walk and enjoying the outdoors, having a pet with her just makes it that much better for her! Your pet is in great hands with Katie!!
Katie cared for my 2 Boston Terriers several times, spending the night when I was out of town. Cleo and Cricket were given excellent care by Katie and they loved having her at our home for a sleep over! She played with them and made them feel very special. I would recommend Katie as a very caring and responsible caregiver and would have her take care of them again.

What is your dogs favorite toy? I’m accepting of any breed but my favorites are dachshunds, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Great Danes and pitties.
A typical day
We will go on walks to any local park near the owners house. My favorites are Forest Park, Laurelhurst, and Mount Tabor :) I also love hiking and if I stay with your dog and I am permitted, I’d love to take them on a day hike to any of the hikes down the Gorge.
