Pet care experience
I've always loved animals, and have had dogs in the home since I was a very young child. I have experience raising puppies, caring for senior dogs, and caring for dogs with physical limitations. I have been house/pet sitting for years as well, and neighbors and friends have always trusted me to take excellent care of their dogs, cats, fish, etc. I can promise you I'll love your pet like they're my own! I will be more than happy to send cute photos of your pet to you as an update!

If I could rate Katie more than five stars I would, she was AMAZING! My husband and I went up to Traverse for an extended weekend and one of our dogs began to experience some tummy issues, this was absolute my worst nightmare. She kept me updated on how he was doing and when I called my vet who recommended he go on a bland diet she even went out to the store to get the items needed. We were incredibly grateful for her and will be using her again. This has nothing to do with dog sitting but she left our home spotless washed all the bedding and towels she used we came home to an immaculate home. We highly recommend her.

I am very flexible and can adapt to many types of situations and care routines. I can keep dogs crated if needed, or they can sleep on the bed with me! I've dealt with picky eaters before, and have picked up a few tricks! I'll make sure your pet takes any medications, although I do not have experience with giving shots at this time. I am more than willing to learn. Depending on the dog, time between potty breaks will vary between 1 and 4 hours during the day. Please feel free to make any special requests and I will honor them to the best of my ability!

Please let me know if there are any issues I should know about. I need to be prepared for medical situations, any social issues like aggression toward dogs, food aggression, etc. so that I can best care for your dog.
A typical day
I will make sure your dog has a wonderful time while I'm over! We will take walks (I like to change up the routes do they have plenty of new adventures), have plenty of playtime, and your dog will no doubt receive lots of love and cuddles (if they enjoy that)!

I am in college, but out for the summer. I am currently searching for a part-time job, and I will be updating my calendar regularly to show any change in my schedule. I offer overnight house-sitting and drop-in visits.
