Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs cats and other animals and I have a great bond with every animal I meet. Family and friends have trusted me to look after their animals for years. I never get tired of spending time with animals, playing, cuddling and going on walks with them. I adore dogs and other animals and I would love to make your pet happy and feel comfortable! I have experience of looking after dogs of a variety sizes, ages and personalities. I have cared for multiple dogs with impairments and health problems such as dogs that are blind, deaf, dogs with physical disabilities and dogs with dementia. I have experience of caring for a blind elderly rescue dog which had behavioural problems, we now have a very strong bond and he has complete trust in me.

Katie has been caring for my elderly rescue dog Toby for a few years and he absolutely loves her. He’s blind and deaf and a bit lazy now in his old age but she brings his playful side out. They have a great time playing and going on short walks. She helps to guide him when he needs support to make him feel safe.

A typical day
I have a great time with dogs exploring different areas around my village. There are a variety of walks I know well and have different lengths. I will adapt the walks to your pet and their needs, I will find a walk that suits them well. During visits I will play often with dogs who are lively and enjoy attention. And for dogs who prefer to be alone I will make sure to give them the space they require. My aim is to ensure that your pet is enjoying themselves!
