Hi there! My name is Katie and I am a 24 year old female living in the beautiful city of NYC. I graduated from Stanford University two years ago with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (I also played for the women's soccer team), and ever since then I have been working at a law firm in the city. My job is quite flexible and allows me to work from home as frequently as I wish. My motivation for joining Rover is simply to get outside and satisfy my passion for dogs. I am a huge animal lover—and in particular a dog lover. I have an adorable chocolate lab named Tootsie back at my parent's home in Southern California, and I miss her (and furry friends in general) so much that I am thrilled at the opportunity to be able to spend some time with your pup while you are busy or away. In addition to my passion for dogs, I am an ideal pet sitter because I am responsible, dedicated, respectful, and pay great attention to detail. I will respect you time, your pet, and your home as if they were my own. I hope that we are able to engage in a symbiotic relationship in which you can rely on me to care for your dog when your schedule gets a little bit too hectic, and in which I get to spend time with the species that I love.
