Pet care experience
I’ve done a lot of dog sitting over the last few years from pugs to German Shepherds to golden doodles. I have a loveable female lab who is always happy to have new friends over. I prefer cash payments for care to avoid that crazy Rover fee!

Katie was awesome! She came over the day before I had to leave home to meet the 10 dogs on the property. Everyone loved her, including the one that barks at everyone. She came by a few times during my absence just to make sure everyone was alright, and that provided a great level of comfort for us. Will definitely book again.

I am happy to give animals as much attention or space as they need when I am providing care . I have a valid drivers license with no crashes or tickets on record and am willing to transport pets if needed. I will watch animals under my care for odd behavior, physical injury, and other warning signs and will keep them fed and watered properly under my care.

Please advise me if your pet has any particular behavioral issues I need to be aware of (jumping up, counter surfing, chewing, marking, etc) so I can be prepared to deal with poor behavior. I ask that all pets be comfortable sleeping in a kennel overnight and that you supply one for their stay if they will be staying in my home. I am comfortable administering medications (pills, topical ointments, etc.)
A typical day
I enjoy teaching dogs new tricks or helping polish old ones, a personal favorite is hide and seek! I have a fenced in play area separate from my bunnies and ducks so dogs can run around without fear of escape or damage to property.

I currently stay home every day of the week besides Friday (work from 9am to 3pm) and am around most of the day doing housework and caring for my infant son.
