Pet care experience
I've loved dogs since I was a little girl. They are such lovely creatures with unique personalities, and they make me smile! My husband and I met through our dogs, both of whom were adored and regularly treated to walks, swims, hikes, ski adventures, and hours of playing fetch. A tired dog is a good dog! In 2017 we welcomed a Golden Retriever puppy into our home, our sweet, slightly mischievous Auggie. Variety is the spice of life: we will walk different routes in order to enjoy new sights and smells. Your dog will have fun walking with me, and will have ample time to sniff whatever strikes his/her fancy! If your dog boards with my family, we have a huge, fenced yard and will spend a lot of time playing fetch!

I would definitely recommend Katie as a responsible and loving dog caregiver. I've known Katie for 11 years and during that time I've observed her with her own pet dogs, friends' dogs and my dog. Katie has a passion for animals and a special place in her heart for dogs. She's very knowledgable about maintaining routines for feeding, exercise and rest to foster a loving home for the dogs in her care. I trust her to take care of my dog regularly when I'm out of town and she always welcomes my dog to join me when I'm visiting for playdates with my young son. Lastly, Katie has a home with both inside and outdoor open space where a dog can move about freely an on-leash.
