I previously worked for 3 years (both part-time and full-time) for a pet care company, doing everything from daily dog walking, house sitting, and dog boarding for owners while they were at work or away on vacation. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. Now that I have a 9-5 desk job, I very much miss working with dogs and so am looking to be able to spend more time with pups on weekends! I used to have a 16 year-old Maltese named Lexi, and so have experience with senior dog care. Lexi sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in October 2018, and I miss her every day. I'm a huge dog lover and have always grown up with dogs, so it feels strange to not have a dog around now. My husband and I currently reside in Salem and we have a car. My neighborhood is very dog-friendly, and I also enjoy walks at the park and hiking (if pups are up for it!) As a pet-sitter, I also have experience with cat care, and other house-sitting tasks, such as gardening, alarm systems, and the like.
