I’ve been around pets since I was 10. In collage, I got my first cat of my very own - she’s still the most spoiled cat around. These days I live in a house with my fiancé’s 3 year old Stanfordshire terrier and my 4 year old rescue cat. Every day we manage the two not getting along with Luna the cat having her own space the dog can’t get to but free roam of the house. Staffies are extremely high energy dogs and extremely intelligent…. but only when they want to be. I have been taking Sadie on morning walked every morning for months to teach her leash manors and to get some energy burnt up. My fiancé and I are frequent dog sitters of our friends pups and we love that it gives Sadie a built in play buddy for a few days.

Katie was amazing with Stormi and I felt so much more at ease knowing my furbaby would be in a home with people and another furry friend. She was so spoiled and well cared for. Stormi had a blast playing with Katie's dog, Sadie and they are now best friends! I would recommend Katie to everyone and will be booking with her in the future!
Katie did a wonderful job with our two very shy cats during our 9-day absence. She patiently looked for them in all their hiding places and sent us daily pictures of them (usually hiding under the bed). She even managed to coax one of them out of hiding and getting her to sniff her hand. She left them daily treats and cleaned their litter. She sat in the living room with the TV on in the hopes of getting them to join her. She absolutely did everything possible to make them happy - we were very fortunate to find her and would gladly hire her again!

We have a 3 story home, the cat owns the upstairs portion and we have a permanent walk through gate so the dogs can’t disturb her. The dog owns the middle and the downstairs portion, the the downstairs door is usually closed. We have a larger fenced in backyard with tons of running and playing space for dogs. We have a beautiful trail, away from any streets, a block away from our home that we walk our own pup on every single day. I am a big runner and our staffs gets to join be for 2-5 mile runs given the weather is right. Running is such a fun way for pups to get out and enjoy the outdoors and get some energy out!

Please let me know if your dog needs anything special ahead of time. Please know our dog Sadie will play and play all day long so she is best pairs with puppies and larger dogs. We do have tools to calm Sadie down for smaller and lower energy dogs - a few months ago we had a roommate for 3 years with a 9 year old shih tzu poodle that Sadie did well with. I also have space up in my office area with the cat that your smaller dogs can live in as long as they are alright with cats! The cat does well with and has some experience with dogs that are calm.
A typical day
Getting energy out of dogs is super important around our home. Our dog Sadie is extremely high energy and she’s almost 4 years old. We go on 1-2 walks a day as well as tons of games in the back yard. Sadie’s favorite game is “green light”, which is just a green laser we shine on the fence and she chases it round and round! We also play fetch and tug of war often!

I am currently working from home full time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I have experience walking two dogs at once and we have an amazing trail behind our home for loads of good doggie sniffs.
