Hello! My name is Katie, I am a 22 year old animal lover with years of veterinary care experience! I studied veterinary medicine at the university of Oklahoma State for two years, worked at veterinary clinic for two years and interned at an emergency pet hospital for three years. With my experience I am comfortable working with pets of all ages, and feel comfortable working with pets that have specific health needs or disabilities. My goal is to help make your life less stressful by ensuring your fury friend is safe, healthy, and happy! My best availability is Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Friday evening and weekends. I am also available for holidays and extended pet sitting for families that go out of town.Additionally I like to have meet and greets before scheduling a service for new clients to ensure your pet feels safe with me. Katie is very good with all pets. I personally have a two year old lab who Katie loves! My dog has a hard time with being calm around new people but Katie has always been able to talk her down so she stops jumping. Every time Katie comes over my dog, Paisley, gets so excited. I would recommend Katie to any dog owner because she is very experienced with dogs and she gives them the attention and love they want/need!
I am a small animal veterinarian and Katie is my granddaughter. Katie has extensive experience caring for and working with dogs and cats. She worked as a veterinary assistant in Olathe, KS and spent several days shadowing veterinarians in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University. She has provided pet sitting services for several people. Katie is trustworthy, compassionate and has very good skills in the handling dogs. She has several pets at home. Katie has an outgoing personality and very good work habits. I recommend her without reservation.
My three dogs love Katie. They jump and squeal when she comes over. Her gentle voice and affection soothes them. One time another dog sitter couldn’t get my Murray to eat. Katie made herself available and Murray ate right away! Katie has vet tech experience which comes in handy when the random things like an upset tummy happens. Or, if your pets needs medication administrated. Katie is good and sending photos of the dogs which makes any pet owner happy when away. I have always returned from my travels to a happy healthy pack.
