Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Katie, and I am a lifelong owner and lover of pets. I have had dogs my whole life, ranging from itty bitty hamster size small to German Shepherd mutt size large. I have also, at various points, been lucky enough to have some cats in the mix as well! I currently have two wonderful rescue pups as part of my family. I have worked at an elementary school for the last 10 years, so I value timeliness and reliability with high regard. I am super patient and happy to learn your rules / ideas / guidelines when it comes to providing the best care for your animals. I am super flexible with scheduling and am happy to work around your schedule to accommodate your needs! I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful companions!

Katie is spectacular! She totally understands my dog and his anxieties - she figured out right away that my baby is a mommas boy and is a little high strung and anxious. She picked him up and loved on him right away and by the time I left he was completely at ease with her. She has always been accommodating to my schedule and that flexibility is super appreciated! I feel very relaxed and very comfortable when she watches my fur baby because she is so responsible and caring. I love that I can get away for a few hours or for a few nights and know my fur baby is being cared for so well! Most importantly, Bowser loves being at her house so much! I highly recommend Katie for just a few hours or an out of town trip - as a one time or a regular sitter. I an so incredibly lucky to have found Katie!

No breed preferences! I love all dogs - big and small! I would like to know about temperament, any not so great habits (digging, making a mad dash towards an open door / cat / tasty snack, or anything like that so I can make sure I adjust accordingly!) any allergies or sensitivities your pets may have, and any special feeding / activity rules you may have. I want to be sure I provide the best care possible while still having a great time together!
A typical day
I am happy to provide walks around your neighborhood, or any preferred walking paths you may have! I am also happy to transport to nearby parks or dog parks for dogs who prefer the company of other canine companions. When doing drop-in's or house sitting, rest assured that MANY scratches and snuggles will be had! Tug-of-war, fetch, whatever floats your pup's boat is on the agenda! Make sure you let me know what kinds of games and toys are your dog's favorites so I can make sure we have the most fun during our time together! I will definitely be sending pictures / text updates of our adventures together - so be prepared for some puppy spam in your inbox!
