I’ve owned dogs my entire life, currently foster + volunteer for 2 rescues, and previously volunteered for the Guide Dog Foundation when I had more time on my hands! Currently, I study Animal Science at UGA which means I’ve taken courses on companion animals. I have experience with many breeds and sizes of dogs and am more than comfortable with handling all types of dogs, whether they be laid back or more quirky and pushy. I understand how important it is to focus on the invidual dog in front of you and understand that each dog has different needs; I’m experienced and comfortable with giving needed medications, being cautious of food allergies, and being attentive to fears your dog may have. If your dog needs to be walked in a specific type of collar or harness to prevent pulling or escaping (prong, halti, gentle leader, martingale, etc) I know how to properly use all these tools to make our walk a better experience!
