Go on, enjoy that vacation and know that your dog is safe and happy at home! He'll be at the front door, tail wagging, when you return! While hanging out with your dog, I promise to follow all guidelines and boundaries you've put in place. For example, if you allow your dog on the couch, then so will I, but if you say "no", I will too. Your dog and I will do our best to follow your set schedule (if you have one) for feedings, walks, medicines, etc. My favorite thing to do is to chill with your dog in the backyard or on the couch, but we will do all the "normal" and routine things that you'd do if you were home. A bit about me: I've had dogs my whole life...boxers and labs, a German shepherd, a collie, a lhasa apso, and several wonderful mixed breed dogs. I have learned that nothing is better than coming home to a dog....they are always happy to see you and they can make anything and everything better, no matter what! During high school, college, and the beginning of my teaching career, I dog-sat/pet-sat/house-sat as a way to earn some extra money and I loved it! I then became too busy to give enough time to the dogs and pets of other people and then moved overseas for 6 years. I am now back in the US and am working on another degree, as well as writing a book, while living in Fort Collins with family. I am looking to earn some extra money and would love to hang out with your dogs and other pets while doing homework and writing and enjoying life in Northern Colorado. *While dogs and turtles are my favorite animals, I do have experience caring for and "sitting" for just about every other type of animal, so no worries if you have animals along with your dog. *I have no problems administering medicines as long as the instructions are clear. *When I leave your house, all sheets, towels, dishes, etc. I've used will be clean. *I have found that most pet parents enjoy receiving pictures of the pets, so I'm happy to send pictures if you'd like (but I also won't bombard you with texts either).
