I am a local journalist from Las Cruces who has always loved dogs! As a Rover Sitter, I have walked and watched numerous puppies and adult pooches. In college, I worked for the Arizona Republic, where I got to write and listen to so many amazing canine stories. During my time on the unofficial "K-9" beat, I even voluntarily hopped in a bite suit (see photos). My family has had a dog for six years, however, I've always surrounded myself with cute canines. Growing up, I would watch my best friend's two huge labradors when she went out of town, Loki and Odin. I'm very patient and I love to play; I don't mind a little dog slobber! I would also love to explore different parts of the city, perhaps with a pooch by my side.
