Pet care experience
I have been fostering dogs for nearly 9 years now. This encompasses caring for dogs with traumatic backgrounds, aggression issues, shyness, and in some instances even feral. I have worked with trainers throughout my time of fostering and have learned how to redistribute a dog’s energy in a healthy way, train basic commands, and be aware of any signs that the dog is giving off that they may be stressed.

This was my first experience with Rover, and Katie exceeded all expectations. From the beginning, she asked as many questions as possible to really understand Maisie so she could ensure she was provided the best daycare experience possible. During the stay, she texted pictures and updates frequently — I always knew how Maisie was and the adventures she was having! Katie even took time after the stay to provide more detail about how things went, which was super helpful and amazing as a first time Husky owner myself. Her two dogs, Ava and Puggy, are a delight and did so well at helping Maisie start to overcome her shyness. I will absolutely be a repeat client. An incredible experience all around, thank you so much Katie!

I have a back porch that my dogs love sunbathing in and a freshly constructed backyard with grass and cable fencing. I go on walks 2 to 3 times a day to keep them exercised, and set aside an hour or two per day for specific training needs. If there is no training to be done, I am happy to give your dog some extra play time with toys and a longer walk!

Let me know if your dog has any issues with aggression (food or toy; please reconsider a pet sitter without a dog if your pup has dog aggression) and I can work on a bit of training with them :)
A typical day
I love to provide treat puzzles to your dog to keep them mentally stimulated. Walks are given multiple times a day (given it’s not too hot for them!) and even a run or a hike if your dog is of higher energy :) I am able to give them lots of love and play time with toys, as well as nap time breaks when needed.

I currently work full-time from my house and still occasionally foster dogs when I am their last resort. I am able to accommodate your schedule in any which way that you may need me!
