I am a UW Madison graduate with a degree in Animal Science. I grew up in a house full of pets and have experience handling a variety of household pets including dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits. I pride myself on treating each animal as an individual and take things at a pace they are comfortable with. I love getting to know and form a relationship with your pet. I work full time, but have a flexible schedule and work from home some days of the week. I have my own reliable transportation and can visit multiple times a day if necessary. I have experience with medication and post-surgical care, senior pets, young pets, and special needs/restrictions. I’ll do whatever I can to give you peace of mind while giving top-quality care to your pet. I have experience in animal behavioral modification training and focus my training around positive reinforcement. I am flexible in my training methods and will always default to the owners instructions.

I like to meet the dog and their owner to fully understand the dog's energy and preferences about human interaction. Watching a pet and owner interact gives me a better idea of how I should interact with them to maintain their comfort!
A typical day
I tailor the walk to each individual dog - some like to power walk the whole route while some like to take in the sights, sounds, and smells, and others yet are most interested in playing fetch or with toys at home. I want your dog to feel comfortable and confident in whatever environment we are in together. With cats, I find you really have to find out what the individual likes. If your kitty is a bit skiddish, I can hang out quietly with them. If they love to cuddle, I love that too!
