Pet care experience
I have cared for all kinds of breeds including some temperamental/territorial dogs, so I am pretty comfortable with all sizes and personalities. I’ve had several repeat clients and I’m very reliable. I have a 4 year old chiweenie, Levi, and he is my world. Dogs just make me happy. I love being around animals, but dogs are just so much fun and unconditionally loving! Kate was amazing from the first interaction to the last! She was so on top of everything and so respectful. My dogs seemed to love her and all was managed so well while I was gone for 5 days. I will definitely be booking again with Kate and know my pups will be in such good hands! ??
Katie was our savior! She was available during a weekday with very little notice and was great with our pup who is recovering from a recent surgery. Definitely recommend.
I travel for work often and would trust Katie with my 2 dogs each time I left Raleigh. She was attentive and built a great bond with each of my kids, it's safe to say they wish I traveled more (my dachshund has been depressed ever since she moved to Seattle). Katie is very personable and understanding when it comes to special needs (i.e. a yorkie who takes Prozac and needs medicine for the occasional ear infection), we highly recommend her for your petsitting needs.
Katie used to dog sit for me over weekends when I was away, or anytime I needed someone to let my dog out. My dog absolutely loves her and she always took great care of him! I don't trust my furbaby with just anybody, but I'd never think twice about asking her to watch him for me!

I have a fenced yard and lots of indoor space for exercise. There are two other dogs on the property that like to roam around and are very friendly. Please let me know if your pup prefers there own space. At client homes I am very mindful of gates, doors, and fences, always ensuring there is no way for your pup to get out. If you’re out of town I’m also more than happy to check for mail and packages, and will put them in a safe place for you. I’m comfortable doing drop ins and sitting at houses and apartment buildings.

I am comfortable with all breeds and I have in the past spent time getting to know and comfortably sitting temperamental/aggressive dogs (Dalmations, Dachshunds, German Shepherds), just please let me know if this is the case and I will take extra time and care getting to know your dog and letting them get comfortable with me. Let me know if short leashing or avoiding other walkers is necessary.
A typical day
I live in the Bankers Hill/Hillcrest area with plenty of grassy sidewalks. I like to go on several walks throughout the day and would love to being your pup along with me! Grape Street dog park and Balboa dog park are both within walking distance. I am highly vigilant and keep a close eye on anything on the ground to ensure the pups aren’t eating anything they shouldn’t.

Availability
I work from home with a flexible schedule. I take several walks throughout the day for my own pup and for myself. I’m available for drop in visits and walks before 9 am and again around lunchtime. I’m available for all services after 5/6 pm.
