Are you looking for a responsible, reliable, and loving pet person? Look no further! I have been an animal lover all my life. Your pet will be treated with respect, love and most importantly, fun! Pets are such a huge part of our lives, and I will treat yours as if they were my own! I grew up with boxers, a very active breed so I am familiar with active/hyper dogs, but have also cared for mellow dogs as well, so whatever their personality is I will cater to them. I have babysat for friends, family and co-worker's pets so whether it is a drop in, boarding, or a walk, I want to make this an easy and affordable decision for you. During the week I am available for dog walks and/or pet care after my work day (after 3:30pm). On weekends I have complete availability. Whether it's going for a long walk through the neighborhood, a good belly scratch, playing catch in the backyard, or going for a fun car ride with the windows down, my goal is to make your pet happy and safe. One of my favorite quotes: "Whoever said diamonds are a girls best friend never owned a dog!" I am also available for other animals as well, kitties, small mammals, etc.

This was our first time using a dog sitting service. Katie was so easy to get along with. She treated Lucy very well. It was more than I expected. She provided regular updates with the cutest pictures. She is attentive and compassionate. I would highly recommend Katie.
Katie went above and beyond for our dog while we were away! We've seen other dog sitters do the minimum in the past (Ie. supervise and make sure they stay safe.) Katie takes dog-sitting to another level. Not only does she ensure your dog's safety, but spends her personal time showing affection, going on walks, playing, and making sure your animal feels comfort while his/her parents are away. She's very professional. She even took the time to sit down with us beforehand to talk through any medications needed, feeding schedule, little quirks, etc. By the time my wife and I came back to pick up Oliver, he didn't even want to leave because Katie made him feel so at home. You can just tell that her goal is to enrich the life of our dog instead of just making sure he had somewhere to live. I'd recommend Katie above any other dog sitter on the market. She's reliable, trustworthy, fun, loving, and genuinely a great person. 5 out of 5 stars!
I can't speak highly enough of how wonderful our experience with Katie was; she went above and beyond! Our dog Oliver enjoyed lots of long walks, play time, outdoor time, and cuddles while he was cared for by Katie - she even sent me photos of him while I was gone so I knew he was safe and having fun. Katie was attentive and asked lots of questions when I dropped him off to ensure she understood what our dog's needs/schedule was, which I appreciated. I could tell by the way that Oliver was cuddled up by Katie when I picked him up that he got attached to her and loved spending time with her. I would highly recommend her and will definitely plan on using her services again. Thank you Katie for taking good care of our little fur baby!
Katie Ammel did an absolutely fantastic job watching our two high-energy dogs while I was away on a business trip. She came every day during her lunch break for 2 weeks to not only let them out to potty, but also walked and played with them. This was a great help to my husband who works a very long work day. Her love for animals is apparent in how she interacts with them, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting, walking, or even house sitting.

I have a fenced in yard, so for pets that need to stay at my home, they will have a large yard to run and play in! Your pet will be spoiled, welcomed on all the furniture, wrapped up in blankets and under the covers in bed at night to sleep and snuggle! I have two kitties that will enjoy your pet from afar as they prefer to keep their distance from other animals that come into the home. For stays within the pets home, I will cater to whatever routine your pet is use to!

A typical day
I will love caring for your pet catered to their needs. Dogs, kitties, small mammals, etc. will be met with love and respect! I will love taking your dog for car rides, walks through the neighborhood, a close park, to the dog park, the beach to swim! I also have a fenced in backyard, so my home is an option as well. Anywhere that can provide a fun and stimulating experience, while providing good exercise is on my to do list! For senior pups or those with special needs, a good pampering session is a must! I love playing, wrestling, throwing balls, playing tug of war, teaching new tricks, brushing, etc. I also have experience administering oral medications and injections, so any special or medial needs can be provided!

I work full time Monday-Friday, so during the week I am available early mornings or evenings. For overnight stays, special accommodations can be made either staying at your home or bringing your pet to my home.
