Pet care experience
I started off with two dogs of my own as a teenager. One was young and in need of a better home and training, the other was very old and needed special care. People are also surprised that I had a hermit crab for 10 years. He died when I went on vacation, so I am very aware of the risks we take entrusting another with the care of a beloved pet. I think it's important to meet animals in the middle rather than forcing them to behave a certain way.

My little Stella goes right to the car with her tail wagging excitedly every time she knows we are going to Katie's house for daycare! Katie takes care of all of Stella's needs and provides her care and entertainment while I am at work during the day. Katie has absolutely become Stella's auntie and I greatly appreciate the communication and photos she shares with me on a daily basis. Katie has been a life saver for me and I'm so grateful Rover connected us!!

I need eyes on dogs at all times. They won't be outside alone, and will not be unleashed unless we're in a safe, enclosed area. They won't eat meals or snacks unsupervised. My housemates are animal lovers as well, so we're all happy to have the company.

A typical day
Every dog is different when it comes to toys, playing and relaxing. I'd love to know what your dog does for fun so we can make the most of our time. I'm happy to do a lap around the block or throw a ball in the backyard again and again.

Availability
I'm dedicated to working with animals full time. Most recently I provided full-time day care for a puppy, but she's all grown up now. Ideally, I would do the whole situation over again with a new puppy because being a Dog Nanny is the best and most rewarding job I have ever had-potty training and all.
