My name is Katie A. and I’ve been working with animals for almost fifteen years now. I started out volunteering at an animal shelter and when I was old enough I got a job there. I own 4 dogs, 1 cat and 1 Guinea pig. I’ve been working at animal related places for eight years. I used to train dogs for PetSmart, worked there for almost 5 years. I love all animals, but dogs are my weakness. I have experience with special needs animals (diabetic/injured and sick). I not only train dogs, but also already have a few people I house and dog sit for. I’m comfortable with every breed of dog and cat. Animals are my passion and I love spending time with them.

If everyone gets along well your dog/s can mingle with my own. I have space for extra crates if needed. I have a large backyard for the fur babies to run and play. I can do whatever is needed. If they need to be separated to eat, you got it. If they need to be walked 3 times a day, you got it. Just ask!

A typical day
We can go to the dog park and go for walks on the lakefront! Or we can just take a car ride and enjoy some fresh air. Pet friendly restaurants are fun too.

Availability
I work roughly 6 months out of the year. On every off day (weather permitting) I take my dogs to the park, on walks at the Mandeville lakefront and whatever else I can do with them.
