Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner most of my teenage and adult life. I have trained all of my dogs to walk off leash (will keep yours on leash), retrieve items, do tricks and be kind and gentle dog citizens. I have now lost three of my furry best friends due to old age and I haven’t gotten the courage to find another. However, I do miss the companionship of a pet and thought I’d give this a try since I work remotely indefinitely. I do have a 6 yr old son who will be home some of the time after school and on weekends so the pup must feel comfortable around semi-small humans. :)

Katia took my last-minute request for my doodle to stay 10 days! She was heaven-sent! Katia sent pictures & videos daily and took great care of my doodle! I’m truly grateful for her & her son! I wouldn’t think twice about booking her again! She is an amazing pet sitter!
This was Dolce’s second time staying with Katia. Communication was wonderful and Dolce seems to feel very much at home! We are grateful to have found her!
Katia was very communicative during Cado’s stay and sent plenty of updates and pictures. This was Cado’s first time staying with Katia and we felt totally comfortable knowing that she was in great hands. Your dog will get plenty of exercise, love and attention throughout his/her stay, so we’d definitely recommend Katia in the future and will use her again.
Not only did Katia accommodate a last-minute booking request on my part, but she cared for my dog, Duke, as if he were her own! Duke was injured prior to staying with Katia so he required extra care and maintenance than usual (multiple meds, limited exercise, etc.) - it was such a relief to know he was in good hands while I had to be out of town. She kept me updated on how he was doing every day and sent me lots of picture updates, which I really appreciated! Thank you, Katia & Max, for taking such great care of Duke!

I have a ground floor walkout condo and a small fenced garden if needed, but it is very tiny and not really a great potty area. It’s great for barking at squirrels and bird watching. There are lots of places to go on walks around the community. If i need to run an errand, i can crate your pet, take them with me, or let them roam free if they’re trustworthy.

Please let me know of anything of importance such as aggression or anxiety in certain situations, behavioral or physical aspects I need to know about, and how they tolerate car rides as I sometimes take the dogs to my family home.
A typical day
A typical weekday is one long lunch walk or evening walk, morning and evening potty breaks and lots of playtime. On a weekend, there’s lots more outdoor time, we can do hikes or go to a dog park if your pet likes them, i know not all dogs are into that scene.

Availability
Your pet will have much of my attention as I only take up to two dogs at a time. My schedule is extremely flexible. I have worked from home full time for many years. On weekdays, I can go out for one long walk (an hr or so) and as many small potty breaks as needed. On weekends, I can take the pup on a long walk or a hike. I have the flexibility to provide lots of playtime any day of the week.
