Pet care experience
I’ve owned every pet from rabbits, to cats, to dogs, to ducks. I’ve been walking dogs in my neighborhood since childhood and am comfortable with all types of dogs! I am also happy to practice any obedience training they are working on during their walks. I would love to take your dog or puppy on a long weekend stroll.

Katia has been a consistent and loving pet sitter, that has watched my beloved pet duck (LP) on more than one occasion. She has always made contact with me prior to the beginning of her watching period so as to make sure she is knowledgable about where everything is, quirks about LP, and anything she should expect. She keeps me updated and has provided me with the peace of mind that my pet is with someone who genuinely also cares about their well-being. Katia is responsible, great with animals (especially temperamental ones like my own duck), and I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Before our walk, let me know if your dog is generally a good walker or tends to pull. I would also like to know if they tend to run or bark at anything we might encounter, such as other dogs, squirrels, or cars. If they are familiar with any obedience commands I am happy to practice those on our walk.
A typical day
On a walk, I like to match the dog’s pace and understand how fast and far they want to go. I am always looking out to see if the dog needs water or to take a break, especially in the summer months.
