I've got a dog right now that I love because of Kati and her dog, Hazel. Literally. I posted a photo of myself with Hazel on my Facebook page, and from that a friend contacted me to say her son needed to find a new forever home for his dog...would I be interested. Hazel is a rescue - Who rescued who? - and found her forever home with Kati. And it shows. Kati loves all four-legged animals, but especially goats and dogs. She has informally watched my guy. Even after he nipped at her once when they were just getting to know each other, Kati has always been there for Judge. She loves him like her own, and I know she would do anything for him. She finds an animal's favorite things - Judge loves to get his chest rubbed, for example - and she lavishes it on them when they're together. You should see him light up when she stops by! Her love for Hazel has helped me be a better "dad" to Judge. Upon her recommendation, I make sure that I tell Judge good bye when I leave, assure him that I'll see him soon, and I tell him how much I love him. I do the same when I leave Hazel while watching her for Kati. I could go on and on, but I'll end with this: A couple of years ago Kati and I visited the Goofy Goat Farm near where we live. Immediately, I started calling her a "goat whisperer" because she bonded with every goat there. She names them, looks for them when she visits (which is often!), they come to her when she arrives and she lays with them to give personal attention. Again, she knows what they love and provides it for them. I couldn't recommend Kati more to look after your beloved furr-baby!! Don't believe me? Just ask Judge!
