Every dog is my best friend
Pet care experience
I'm a transfer sophomore living on campus at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I've always loved dogs so much and finding a job that I am capable of doing while being a college student has been a challenge. In the last 5 years, I've had experience in the baby sitting world along with a handful of coaching jobs for kids ranging from 2-14 years old. Along with this, I've had a numerous amount of unofficial dog-sitting jobs from my family, friends' families, family's friends, neighbors, coaches, teammates, trainers and more. I've never thought of dog-sitting to be a job because whenever I get a new dog sitting job, I get excited because that means I get to play with dogs. Some of the things that have been asked of me in my dog-sitting experience is going to the house 2 or more times a day (having a key or garage code) to feed the dog(s), let out, walk, give them medications, give insulin injections, cleaning up after them and making sure they’re safely locked back up in the house/in their cages before I leave. In the past, 5 dogs is the most I've been asked to watch at a time and I have no restrictions on quantity, size, age, breed, etc. Being that I’m a sophomore in college, I live in a dorm and I cannot provide any boarding or daycare services during the school year. However, I have a completely open schedule throughout the week, with my latest class ending at three everyday, and having gaps throughout the day where I would be able to make quick visits between classes to care for pets who are in walking distance. If any housesitting services are needed that are close to campus, I would be able to stay at my clients’ homes at night, where I would then have to leave in the morning/afternoon for class, make trips back between classes to check on the pets, and come back to their homes after my classes. When visiting my clients' homes, I will leave everything the way I found it, clean things up before I go, not give out any personal information (like garage codes), and I will make sure that everything is secure and locked back up before I leave to keep the big baby inside safe. (my service prices aren’t final, so once we start messaging we can make a plan. they’re set at what they’re at because rovers rates are daily not hourly.)
Reviews
Kati was great with both of our dogs—one is a large, energetic puppy who was in heat and the other is tiny and older/calmer but needs an insulin injection 2x a day. Kati is friendly, responsible, and a clear/quick communicator—plus she very clearly loves dogs!

Safety, trust & environment
At my clients homes, I will treat it and their belongings with respect and leave everything exactly how it was, if not better. I will always make sure to triple check the locks before leaving for the day and after I arrive to make sure that my clients’ homes are secure with their pets safe inside.
Information Kati G. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if there's anything that your dog doesn't like, including certain triggers like loud sounds, weather, certain people, other animals etc. Im more than happy to make any accommodations for dogs I'm watching to make sure that they are happy and have a great time under my care.
A typical day
When watching my clients pets, I will take them on many walks, take them to any nearby (dog)parks with owner’s approval, do any activities suggested/recommended by owner, and give them all the love and attention they can imagine.
