I own two cats of my own for the past two years, one male and female, and I have tamed these loner cats to bond with each other as adults. One cat was a rescue that I completely turned around to have her first vaccinations, teeth-brushed, and bathed. The senior cat used to have some urinary troubles so I am familiar with using pill pockets for medication. I brush both cats every day in a specific pattern for their fur, play with them daily with a cat wand, and take them out on walks every few days. The male cat had issues with separation anxiety, which was greatly assuaged by cat music, animal videos, and a cat camera that I could talk to them daily. I have been walking my friends' dogs and cat-sitting before I owned cats for about 4 years. I am comfortable with dogs are all sizes but I do not have experience with extremely young puppies. I am very familiar with fetch, cleaning up after them, and directing them away from other dogs on walks. In the past, I did drop-in visits for about 5 of my friends’ dogs while they were on vacation.
