Pet care experience
I have recently retired from healthcare and I'm ready to do something I've always loved and that's take care of animals. I would love to opportunity to take care of your pets while you're away. I think pets thrive best when they're able to stay in their own environment. I have past experiences that make me the best choice for your pet care. I've worked at a vet office as a tech, I worked for a pet sitting company, and I've worked at a doggy daycare, besides having dogs since I was a teenager and taking care of friends and family pets.

Kathy went above and beyond our expectations! We have never had in-home dog sitting before but with our oldest pup having difficulty with traveling we decided to give it a try. We were nervous as our senior dog has recently been diagnosed with diabetes's and required insulin shots. But Kathy was so happy to accommodate our changes and assist so we could enjoy vacation. I came home to two happy pups who I could tell were so loved and taken care of during our time away. I will definitely be rebooking Kathy in the future! I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and care.
Great experience overall. Communication was very easy. Kathy is very patient with our dogs and spent time with them. This is a great option for us, since we didn’t need to put them in a kennel.
Kathy did a wonderful job. I had no worries leaving my kitties in her capable hands. Peace of mind when traveling is invaluable and she certainly provided it. I will continue to use her if possible when I travel.
Kathy did house visits for us for a second time looking after our older cat and she does an amazing job. I would highly recommend Kathy and will be booking Kathy again in the future. She’s a gem!

If you decide to have me stay in your house while you're away I will gladly keep your dog on whatever schedule they are used to. that could include daily walks or playing outside. You might prefer that I only come over a few times during the day. if that is the case, I would still take them for a walk if you'd like, stay with them for a while to play and love on them and then feed them when it's time.

Let me know what times your dog likes to eat, if they take any medicines, where they like to sleep and whether or not they like to sleep with a toy. Whether or not they can have treats and is so what type.
A typical day
I will take them for walks in their neighborhood. if they have a backyard, I'll play with them out there if not I'll play with them in their house.

Availability
Even though I have retired early, I work about 2 days a month, so I am very flexible. I'm available anytime during the day to come to your house to let your pups go outside. I can take them for a walk, or just play with them for a while and feed them. I can come over morning and evening and in between if needed. I can also stay at your house while you're away if you would like that more.
