Pet care experience
I presently have 3 dogs but have had dogs pretty much my entire life. My interest and love for dogs began when I was very young. I have taken in fosters, watched dogs for friends and family and pretty much create such a loving atmosphere that they all want to come back! I have also volunteered in dog programs, most recently Prison Greyhounds. I walk whatever dogs are in my home everyday unless the weather is too dangerous such as lightning or ice. If that is the case we burn energy with play time inside.

Kathy was amazing with Teddy! This was our first experience and I would highly recommend Kathy. She is so kind and treats the pets as her children. She made our family feel very comfortable leaving Teddy there while on vacation. She goes out of her way to really get to know you and and your pet. Daily updates and pictures were so nice. We will defiantly use Kathy again!
My Benny did great at Kathy's house. It is clearly evident Kathy loves dogs and will do anything to ensure their safety as well as have a good time. Benny played with her dogs and loved the fenced in backyard. He also loved going on walks with them. I don't hesitate to recommend Kathy.
I have known Kathy for many years, and it is obvious that she absolutely loves dogs. Kathy has cared for my two dogs on many occasions. She is Reliable, responsible and my dogs love her! She recently took my dog to the vet for me because I was unable to take time off of work. She communicated with me during the process and went above and beyond what I had asked from her. My dogs often stay at her home and it is a cheerful and clean space that is very dog friendly. She provides many opportunities for their comfort - plenty of beds, toys, and blankets! I highly recommend her as a dog sitter!

Information Kathy R. would like to know about your pet
Since I have 3 dogs of my own, 2 Greyhounds (50#s) and a Schnoodle (19#s) I would want to make sure that your dog is dog friendly. I will not upset the safe environment of our home with another animal that is aggressive. I will also protect your dog in the same way. We have a calm and loving environment that will not be disrupted. I also prefer dogs that are leash trained to walk without pulling. If they aren't it will be something I work on. I'm pretty good at it!
A typical day
We have lots of options in our neighborhood as there are several paths that meander through. My dogs choose the direction they want to go since they are so familiar with what's available. We have lots of toys and bones to chew on and of course treats. I take time to sit with the dogs in our home, they can come for some lovin', sit on our laps, lay around on the floor near us, etc. In other words, we are available. If we leave we make sure every animal is safe and monitor our time away, keeping it at a minimum. I think that's why dogs like to stay here, there is a lot of human companionship.
