Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Kathy. Born and raised in Peru, I grew up with dogs from an early age. My grandfather had five dogs on his farm and my own family owned an Old English Sheepdog, a Beagle and a Boxer. My brothers and I started a dog rescue centre for stray and abandoned dogs in the city of Cajamarca, offering medical care and a re-homing service. You could say dogs are close to my heart! I live with my husband and our six year old daughter. I miss my dogs and love to look after yours. Ideally, I am looking for friendly, sociable dogs to come and have some fun with my daughter and I.

We have left Charlie with Kathy and number of time. Kathy is always wonderful with him. We have every confidence that he is well taken care of. Kathy is always accommodating and send regular photos and updates. Charlie is always happy to spend time with Kathy and we’re very grateful for her kindness and care .
Murphy had another fab stay with Kathy and her family. He was excited to see them when we arrived which is always nice to see. Kathy sent updates with pictures which was great and kept me in the loop about what they'd been up to and how Murphy was getting on. When I went to collect him he was very relaxed which was lovely. I feel very happy leaving Murphy with Kathy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
Kathy is so amazing! Bim loves her, and we feel so at peace leaving him with Kathy and the family - I think he thinks its a mega treat! We will be using Kathy again as soon as possible!

Our house has a spacious, fully enclosed garden and is close to my favourite walking areas, Craigmillar Castle Park and Portobello beach. There are also two large parks behind our house in Duddingston that are excellent for dog walking.
