Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. I have 7+ years of dog sport training and have taken courses in animal behavior and behavior modification. I've always been the one neighbour's come to for when they need someone to watch their pet. I am punctual and reliable with great communication. I give detailed updates after each visit with plenty of pictures of your fur baby. I treat each animal as if they were my own. I am experience working with all sizes and temperaments. I've volunteered at the Ottawa humane society for a year where I met dogs of all backgrounds and gained a certificate in basic animal first aid. Kathy took such incredible care of Beau on his walks. We had to unexpectedly be away and needed someone to walk him while he stayed with our parents. Kathy was always punctual and Beau was always so, so happy to see and walk with her. He came back happy and ready for a rest! This was my first time using Rover. Kathy was amazing, responded right away to my urgent request of needing a dog walker in the next 48 hours for my puppy Raven. She was punctual and gave amazing feed back with pictures! I will definitely be using her again!
Kathy was great! She was communicative and flexible with her drop in times. We had a nice meet and greet and while we were away for 4 days she sent lots of pics and details about her visits. We look forward to booking with her again.

I don't currently offer boarding or daycare I'm my own home but when it comes to your home I will always stick to what your dog knows, if they are crated while you're gone they will be crated before I leave our visit or if they are confined or a certain room i will ensure their area is doggy proofed for their safety. I am always keeping an eye out for your dogs safety and will always supervise them since they can often try to eat something they shouldn't or get in trouble when mom and dad aren't home.

Please let me know if your dog is dog friendly or not, I sometimes bring my own dog on walks with me. I will always ask your permission beforehand and confirm your dogs temperament with a meet and greet first.
A typical day
I love to keep your own pets routine, I'll often ask if your dog has a favourite route to walk or if your cat has a favourite toy they like to play with. Whenever you're away I believe it best to keep your pets routine as close to normal as possible so they are comfortable.

I work part time, but my days are decently flexible at the moment. If you want consistent care (weekly or daily walks, etc) please book ASAP so I can book that time slot off for you and work around it if possible.
