I have a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and livestock. I've raised, trained, and competed with dogs, but my favorite activity is just spending time playing fetch and giving belly rubs. I have a degree in Animal Science so you can be assured that I'll give your pooches the best care possible. I have 3 easy going older dogs of my own who get along very well with dogs of all kinds. I've been petsitting for friends for over a decade and decided the time was right to offer my services to the public. My two dogs stayed with Kathy this past weekend and we couldn’t be happier! We usually feel bad and guilty after having them boarded somewhere but not this time. Our dachshund is an anxious guy but we felt so at ease leaving him with Kathy, he seemed very calm and comfortable, even considering the thunder storms. Our 6 month old Staffy puppy got to play with her dogs too! Kathy was responsive and extremely friendly. We would recommend her services for all different kinds of dogs.
Absolutely amazing! I had car trouble and showed up way late for pickup and she was an absolute sweetheart! Will use Kathy for every trip!
Kathy was great to our girls while they stayed at her house. Thank you for keeping them safe while we were out of town.

I like to know a dog's feeding schedule and bathroom preferences (some like to go before they eat, some after), and what toys they like to play with.
A typical day
My fenced yard allows for free play as well as games of fetch and tug of war. I have a large screened in back porch with dog beds where pooches can relax but still get fresh air. Inside I have a multitude of toys, a large playroom in the basement perfect for dog play, and lots of cozy dog beds for naps.
