I have three dogs, all rescues, that I consider my children. I consider my large dog a special needs because of her fear of people and the public. However, she has blossomed while living with me and has adapted to visits with people and allows them to pet her. I've rescued/fostered dogs; my favorite rescue was a yellow lab who had every affliction a dog could have from heartworms to mange. After five months of fostering, she grew into the most beautiful dog and was adopted within the first hour by the first person who saw her at an adoption fair. Animals, pets, depend on us humans for their well-being, and I want to ensure they receive the best care possible. Love me, love my dogs!
