What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the combination of my lifelong passion for animals and my diverse experience in caring for them. Growing up with a variety of pets in my own home has given me a deep understanding of the unique needs and personalities of different animals. My personal experience includes caring for a range of dog breeds, from the gentle giant Bernese Mountain Dog to the spirited Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix, which has allowed me to adapt my care approach to suit each individual's requirements. Whether it's taking active dogs on long and adventurous walks or simply spending quality time with a more laid-back, couch potato companion, I tailor my care to suit the preferences and energy levels of each pet. Kathy is a responsible pet caregiver. She has watched my now three year old golden retriever since he was a three month old puppy. Staying overnight, coming over to take him out for a walk, or even stop by to let him out. Kathy has also owned and cared for cats, and is knowledgeable about what to do if there is something wrong with a cat or dog. I strongly recommend without hesitation Kathy for Rover. Even though they'll be missing you and I may be a stranger to them at first, I find that they're more likely to have a better time there than most anywhere else. With that, I prioritize consistency and respect for their routines. I ensure that all instructions provided by the owner are followed meticulously. Whether it involves feeding schedules, medication administration, or specific exercise routines, I understand the importance of maintaining a sense of normalcy for the pets under my care. I also maintain a clean and pet-friendly environment, making sure food and water bowls are always fresh, and their living areas are tidy and comfortable. I approach every pet with patience, love, and a commitment to their safety and happiness. Aside from a walk around the neighborhood, I love checking out parks and trails in the area, a dog park for them to socialize, or the beach if I'm near it.

I'm currently job searching, so my schedule is quite flexible day-to-day during the week. Happy to care for your loved one while you're required to be on-site or working a day in the office! I also can be available most weekends with a week's notice.
