Pet care experience
I was raised on a farm. I have taken care of chickens, horses, cats, and dogs, all of my life. I currently have two rabbits and two chickens. I do pet sitting for family members and friends when called upon.

We needed someone to care for our dog at the last minute and I called Kathy. She was a godsend. They cared for our little Magie like she was one of the family. It's the first time I used Rover and it was a great experience, thanks to Kathy and her entire family. Magie seemed to love the experience as much as I did. I feel better knowing I have a reliable and dependable sitter nearby.
Kathy was very kind when we first met and introducing her to my pup. I knew within a few minutes that she would take great care of my furry kids. Her efforts were very appreciated as she kept in contact with us with updates. We hope to use her services again!
Kathy did a great job making our dog feel at home while we were out of town!
Kathy is fantastic! We are so lucky we found her. She took care of our dog and two of our cats and made them feel so at home I’m not even sure they missed us. She is kind and communicative and professional. So relieved to know she is someone we can feel great about leaving our pets with when we go away.

I think it is important to know your dogs personality. Does your dog like other animals? How does your dog feel about strangers? Does your dog have any eating abnormalities? Safety is of the utmost importance, and I would certainly want to know all about your dog before agreeing to care for it.
A typical day
What fun activities wouldn’t I do? While your dog is at my house, they will have the time of their life! Playing catch, exploring the yard, and doing their favorite tricks!

Availability
I am a retired homeowner. Our traveling days are done. We are pretty much homebodies with time on our hands and love animals. I volunteered working (feeding/grooming). for HOPE Acre Rescue Ranch (horse and donkeys) a few years ago. They moved the facility, many many miles away, so now I just do fundraisers for them.
