Pet care experience
Throughout my childhood, my home was always filled with cats, dogs, and birds as members of our family. I cared for them daily, and almost every pet we had healthily grew to old age--so I have experience caring for senior animals as well. I also had a Care profile a few years back (before leaving for university) through which, in addition to a few wonderful nanny families I worked with, I had multiple side pet care gigs. Most, if not all, clients would ask me first when they needed pet care again, so I believe they were quite happy with their care. I especially loved having return clients so I could snuggle their pet again and continue that bond. I unfortunately can't have a pet of my own at the moment (due to schedule conflicts with my roommate), so that's why I love this job because I get to pamper your pet with love and fill that void a bit. I have so much love to give, and hope you'll consider hiring me!

Katie was the best dog sitter my dog has had. Tesla was very happy in Katie's home. She went for walks and even slept each night in their bed! Talk about keeping her spoiled! Her food was administered correctly, and she was very happy in Katie's care. Katie's nightly rate was very reasonable. I will continue to book with her; I recommend her highly!
Kathrynn was always prompt and so sweet with our animals! Her check ins were very succinct and to the point which I personally like a lot. Would book her again!
Kathrynn is simply amazing. A genuinely nice person. We had to leave our 4 1/2month golden with her while visiting some friends in Chicago. I can't find enough words to say how grateful we are. I literally had my peace of mind knowing such nice, loving and caring people are watching our puppy!
I think my dogs were pouting all evening. They wanted to stay at kathrynn’s! Snuggles! Fun! Room to run! And more snuggles!!

I love knowing how comfortable your pet is with strangers/any previous experiences they've had with professional caregivers/groomers/etc. Safety is key for your pet, but also for my own well-being. Aside from that more formal info, I'd love to know anything you'd like to share! I was never shy to gush about my own pets, so I know most pet-lovers like to share. And I actually want to know! It helps me to bond with your pet which makes them feel more comfortable and secure, and in turn happier and healthier.
A typical day
I have a sizable backyard that's completely fenced; perfect for roaming, playing, potty breaks, and general outdoor freedom and fun (with my complete supervision and care, of course)! I also adore providing indoor cuddle puddles, tug-o-war/other games, naps in front of a warm fireplace, and much more. If you have a favorite adventure spot with your pup, I'd love to check it out! Otherwise we could stay local (so your pet feels comforted by the familiar), or explore (if you have a more adventurous pet). There's also a lovely dog park on the water in Edmonds that's a great option. Whatever you prefer!
