Let me help you! I've been Army for many years, and over half of those, I've owned, fostered, volunteered, watched, etc., many many dogs and cats. I know how hard it can be to balance family with late work days, TDY, PCS, vacations, etc. Let me help, and love your animals like you do! I recently fostered a pregnant mom dog and helped her through the labor, delivery, and raising/training her puppies until they were ready for adoption. I have two dogs myself (both fixed). One is trained to be a service dog, and a very calm, submissive 58lb pittie. The other is a 30lb medium-energy French Bulldog. So your dogs will have someone to play with to match their energy level! I have a younger, playful, but blind calico cat. We love animals in my house! :) Unless they scratch up leather furniture.... But if you have a bird or other animal that needs sitting, my cat won't be able to get to it. I have a large fenced in yard to play in when I'm home, but they'll be in the house when I'm at work during the day. I also have GPS tracker collars that we can put on your pup if they like to be escape artists, for some peace of mind. I have pee pads, crates, different styles and sizes of pet beds, or whatever it is your baby may need. I've dealt with animals that need medicine administered daily, anxiety, and other special needs. Because I'm stationed at Ft Sill, I occassionally return to Wichita on weekends, as my family is still in Kansas. I will let you know if you request one of those weekends, so we can decide if your baby is able/willing to travel with my babies and I. I'm still available, but Rover doesn't give me a way to update my locations on the calendar, so I will communicate this with you on an individual basis, as applicable.
