Pet care experience
I have been dog (and cat and bunny and fish) sitting for over a decade to supplement my income. (I am a writer) I enjoy the schedule of having to walk and feed the pets who need me. I get so much from our walks (and talks, lol) and meeting a variety of new furry friends. I am reliable, a pet owner myself, and since I do not have children, my pets are my world, and so I will take care of your furry friends like my own. I care very much about the safety and happiness of animals. :D I enjoy the process of getting to know your pet and establishing a routine, being a constant. I love walking and exercise as well! Kathryne is a super person in general. She loves animals and would take care of your dog as if it were her own. She has experience walking dogs and caring for them with lots of love. A very responsible, conscientious and caring person.
Kathryne is one of the best dog sitters I've ever used - not only is she a pure & simple dog-lover at heart, but also very personable and an absolute pleasure to interact with. She treats our dog like her own and has forged a special bond, basically a part of our extended family!

I have no breed preferences, I love them all. :D I would just need to know any medical stuff- do they have allergies, how much food to give, do they need special medication, etc? I would need to know all your vet info before hand should we need to go there in case of emergency. And mostly, if the dog has certain issues- like for example, I sat for a dog once while I was home sitting who went ballistic when he smelled bacon, and got very aggressive around it- and I was not made aware of this beforehand. Just little personality things like that help a bunch!
A typical day
If I have permission from the dog owner, we will most definitely go to dog parks! I live in the valley (Studio City), and there are many local parks both dog and non that are fun for the dogs to go to. I like playing fetch and doing paw shakes for treats :D I will talk with and just give lots of love to your furry friend. Animals and I get along very well, and I just want your pet to be happy while you are away :D
