Pet care experience
I moved to Exton about 4 years ago and volunteered for All 4 Paws to foster dogs and process applications. I also had a dog of my own for 14 years until she passed away. One of the foster dogs, Ruby, a chiweenie, became a foster fail (oops!) due to her sweet nature. Ruby is a professional napper by day and a sniffing connoisseur by night. She has a best friend named Peaches and gets along with other small dogs in the area. Fostering various types of dogs has made me aware of a dog's wants and needs. Whether you need your dog walked or a drop-in visit, I’ll be there with scratches and treats. Making your pet feel safe, loved and taken care of while you’re away is my top priority!

Katie did a wonderful job caring for our dog and cat! She provides daily updates and photos and is always quick to respond to any questions. She has visited with our pets several times and always does a great job… highly recommend!
Just as good as the first time!
Katie is amazing as always, can’t say how thankful we are that we found her when we did. She has helped us so many times with Skylar over the last year or so and we always know Skylar is getting lots of love during her visit!

Every pet has different needs, that's why caring for them is unique to every situation. Typically, drop-in visits consist of a walk, some play/snuggle time and a drink break (and/or food break if they need to be fed). As I'm leaving I ensure they are comfortable, whether it's in a crate or on your couch. If your pet needs extra cuddles, extra playtime, or extra potty breaks, that is what they will receive! Walks are done in a similar fashion, except the walk time is typically longer with less play time after. Does your pet require something out of the ordinary? That's great! I love discovering the unique personalities of each animal and will gladly incorporate that into the visit.

Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any medications, special needs, or particular routines. You may also tell me what your pet likes/dislikes, any favorite scratching areas, what their favorite toy is, etc. This allows me to ensure your pet receives the best care while you're away!
A typical day
Since I only do in home visits, I typically take your dog on an 'adventure' where we explore the neighborhood and find their favorite walking route! Once the walk is done we have a chill session where we wind down before I leave. Or, if your dog is still full of energy, we'll play with whichever toy strikes their fancy until they're tired!

Availability
During the week I have a 9-5 job. My job is local to Exton which makes me available for drop in visits before 8:30am, between 12-1 pm and after 4:30pm. On the weekends, my availability is open! Just let me know ahead of time and I’ll plan around your pet.
