Pet care experience
I've had my own rescue dog for ten years now and have been working as a Dog Walker for the last year. I also have a Diploma in Canine Behaviour along with my Canine First Aid certificate.

Kathryn was great with little Dolly. She is very patient and understanding, especially considering Dolly is very nervous around new people to put it lightly! Kathryn was careful to learn as much as she could about Dolly's personality.
Kathryn was amazing with our dog! She took such good care of her and was very attentive to her needs. She also sent updates with pictures, and took her for plenty of walks and really tired her out! Our girl absolutely loved Kathryn immediately, and I highly recommend her to anyone! She is so professional and took the best care of our dog. Your pet will be in the best of hands with her.
Would highly recommend Kathryn very professional dog walker . Kathryn met my two boys both springer spaniels prior to there walk. Very excitable boys however that wasn’t a bother to her On the day of the walk she kept me updated and I felt both my boys were safe and well looked after while I was at work.
Kathryn is amazing and we can't recommend her enough. We have two very timid dogs and it's very hard for them to get used to or approach people. Not with her! They got on from the first walk. She took care of them while we're away, kept us updated & communicated regularly. We couldn't ask for more. We will be definitely asking for her help again.

I'm experienced with going in and out of people's homes to collect dogs and always ensure i am respectful of the environment and that it is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Ahead of time, it would be great to know about your dogs general personality. For example, if they are reactive/uncomfortable around other dogs or people, if they enjoy playing with toys, if they are comfortable being in a more busy environment or if they are more nervous and would prefer to be walked somewhere quiet. Anything really that you may think is important and I will try my best to cater to it.
A typical day
I love playing interactive and enriching games with dogs to keep them mentally stimulated, such as puzzle toys or games, as i believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical stimulation. I know a few good dog walking areas around West Lothian, but I am happy to walk your dog wherever they would be most comfortable. I will always ensure they get the appropriate amount of exercise they are used to, regardless of the weather.

I'm currently working part time Monday, Wednesday and Thursday during the day so, could be free Tuesdays, Fridays, weekends and during the evening to pet sit or walk your dog.
