Experienced rescue dog foster
Pet care experience
My husband and I have 15 years of experience with all breeds as we fostered close to 50 foster pups/dogs before having our 2 young boys. We have experience with nursing back to health some pretty sick animals, but lately we have simply enjoyed caring for the healthy pets of our friends and family.
Reviews
It was a great visit! First time our 5 year old pups had ever been left with a dog sitter, and we were a bit nervous too. After reading thru the reviews, decided on an initial meet and greet, which helped us get over the hurdle. Kathryn is super sweet and you can tell she loves animals, and her lab Mayzie was sweet too. Thor and Titan had fun, as we were updated daily with photos and even a video or two to show them at play. We slept well on our time away knowing our fur babies were in good hands. Would certainly recommend Kathryn and wouldn’t hesitate to come back anytime! A+++++
Kathryn and her family are great! They watched our miniature GoldenDoodle and Pitbull mix overnight and treated our pups with lots of Love and attention. It was really good social interaction with their two young boys and their older dog. Jerry and Diana
Kathryn and her family were so friendly and welcoming! We knew Milo was in great hands and he seemed so happy and comfortable with them right away! Thanks for taking such great care of him!!
Kathryn and her family did an excellent job of watching my 2 year old golden retriever while I was away! Kathryn is on top of things and flexible, and they welcomed Reno right into their home. Some things I appreciated: Kathryn commutated everything very well! Her home has a super friendly dog who can play with your dog. She sits one dog at a time from different families, which tells me she is prioritizes more focused individual care. Their backyard is fully fenced. And her family is great with animals! I felt very comfortable leaving Reno here, and he came home calm, content and nicely tired. I would love to have Kathryn watch Reno again in the future—her family is a perfect match for him!

We have a safe privacy fence, live in Woodbury on a cul-de-sac, and take pride in our clean home. We have a sweet, 10 year old golden/lab girl to play with who is up to date on all vaccines and we would ask the same of any furry friends. Bonus: we have a couple young boys with boundless energy to play fetch with, walk, play house, and love up on your fur friend for hours.

Information Kathryn S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I'm happy to accommodate them as able. Typically we crate boarded dogs while we were away for safety reasons. We let them out immediately before and after returning from short errands. We have a medium sized crate available if needed. If your pet doesn't need to be crated and they get along fine with our Maizey, we would not crate them. But If you prefer crating (or they are not potty trained or have chewing behaviors), we may ask that you bring your crate from home, along with food and dishes, and walking harness/gentle leaders if used. No need to bring toys, we have lots! I love to send updates and photos of your doggy hanging with us. Hope you don't mind. And in the summer months, we use a magic mesh screen door to our secure fenced in yard so they have free access to potty and fresh air and inside/outside as they please. We love to spend time in the backyard playing, with the dogs doing zoomies in the yard or taking a little wade in their dog pool.
A typical day
I love to play fetch in the yard safely with your dog and mine together. It wears them out! We can go for walks in our neighborhood and snuggle in the sun on the couch afterwards. Summertime is extra fun as we usually have a wading pool on the deck for the dogs to cool off in if they'd like!
