Pet care experience
I’ve personally been a pet parent to dobermans, German Shepard’s, chihuahuas, and yorkies. I currently have a 2 y/o rescued chihuahua mix. I have administered pill medication to all of the above dogs and I have some basic training in obedience.

Kathryn was absolutely wonderful with my puppy! She spent time getting to know both of us and the routine for drop in visits. My puppy warmed up to her right away. It’s a relief knowing my puppy will be in good hands when I have to be away.
Kathryn walked our dog Ziva when our regular dog walker was unavailable and we were in a pinch. She was GREAT and very professional. We will definitely work with her again!
Kathryn is phenomenal with dogs as I’ve trusted her to walk/take care of my two Rottweilers on numerous occasions. She has gone above and beyond by giving them extra long walks, picture updates while they’re out and when back home, and even left them with new bags of treats. Very caring in her own right, I recommend Kathryn 10/10 for any help needed with your pets

I have an 8ft high fenced in yard, very spacious, half shaded in the afternoon. My dog interacts best with larger dogs (he’s a chihuahua mix) but the house is large enough that there doesn’t need to be interaction between the dogs if one becomes hostile. My step mom is home after 5pm and she is off Thursday-Sunday to give extra lovin’.

I do not have any breed preferences but I would like to know how they interact with other dogs. I can be very firm when going on walks but never ever would hurt the dog.
A typical day
I live about 800 feet from the entrance to Forest Park in Springfield, MA. I love walking through the park and going through trails. I’m very familiar with the area as it is where I’ve taken all of my dogs. On hot days I put the sprinkler on or turn on the hose to cool my dogs down after walks.

Availability
I work full time but flexible hours, my availability ranges daily from morning to afternoon to overnight. I would love to develop long term client relationships but for the time being I am happy to lend a helping hand to my fellow dog lovers.
