Hello, my name is Kathryn, and I've been caring for my family's dogs and/or pet-sitting for other people since I was 6 years old. My father taught me how to train our labradors, walk them, feed them, and stay attentive to their needs from a very young age. In our house, dogs were part of the family. Portraits of our pups hung in places of honor on the walls, and I considered them my siblings. I currently have a beautiful, sweet German Shorthaired Pointer - Pit Bull mix who is the love of my life. When I first adopted her, she struggled with separation anxiety and other behavioral issues because she was from an abusive home. I needed help from dog-sitters until she got comfortable with her new environment. Now she's well-adjusted, happy, and she can be left alone when needed, thanks, in part, to the people who gave me an extra hand! I would love to be available in that same way for people who need help with their dogs. Please let me know if there's anything that I can do to make your pooch comfortable while you're away from the house. I love all kinds of dogs, so size, barking, etc., are not an issue for me. Additionally, I'd be comfortable providing extra services for dogs with special needs. I've cared for elderly and sick dogs many times before. Just let me know!
