Pet care experience
I've been an animal lover my entire life, growing up with cats and dogs with the opportunity to train puppies to adult rescues with my family. I have experience in all types of training and can help you as needed. Dogs I've trained in the past include boxers, staffies, and Australian cattle dogs. But I love all breeds and my home will be a safe & fun space for them! I'm looking to be active on Rover as a means to help others :)

Kate did a wonderful job watching my dog, Truffle! She is extremely communicative and I felt so comfortable while I was away knowing that Truffle was in good hands. Truffle is leash reactive towards other dogs and has a specific training plan when she’s outside, and Kate did an excellent job with managing Truffle’s behavior on walks!
Kate is amazing! While out of town for a week, Kate did an incredible job house sitting and watching over my 10 year old pup. The hand off was seamless, received daily pictures and updates, and came home to an apartment better than we left it. Kate is courteous, attentive, and has my full trust watching my dog anytime. Highly recommended!

I'm happy to come to your home to care for your pet (I have a vehicle). My apartment is large (855 sf) so can accommodate pets of all sizes. They will have plenty of space to snooze or play. I also keep my home very clean no hazards to a pet.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or medical requirements. I have experience administering medication so shouldn't be a problem. Also - any behaviors that I should be aware of would be appreciated (i.e. if they don't play well with other dogs or guard their food)
A typical day
I live right next to a park that is perfect for all kinds of dogs! I also have access to the lake front trail as I live in Streeterville close to the water. I'm a cardio maniac so will enjoy taking your pet on as many walks as possible which will hopefully keep them entertained! I also have a car and can bring them to Montrose dog beach if that is something the owner wouldn't mind.

Availability
I currently work full-time remote for Allstate. I have the ability to take your pet on walks at all times of the day without much interference. If you have a pet on a very specific walk schedule I am happy to follow and accommodate. My goal is to provide your pet with a stress-free happy experience that will also leave you feeling confident that I will take the best care of your furry family member.
