Playful Loving Attentive Sitter

Pet care experience

Hey there! I’m Kathryn and I’ve been a dog lover since I was just a little pup myself at 6 years old. I’m excellent with all kinds of dogs - big, small, you name it. I’m fortunate enough to live on 12 beautiful acres just 45 minutes south of Atlanta. For years, I worked at an amazing doggy day care, taking care of all kinds of new pups each and every week so I have experience with all different shapes, sizes and personalities. I’ve got a separate cottage about 50 yards away from our main residence that I use for pups that are a bit shy and need a little more one on one hang out time. So come on down and let’s hang out with some pups!

Kathryn was most wonderful. Our dog is usually shy and takes some time to get used to new surroundings, but Kathryn understood him well and took great care of him so he had a good time. Will definitely book again!

Caring for pets is a big responsibility, whether they're in my home or your home. Each situation is unique, so it's important to tailor my approach to the specific needs of you and your fur baby. If I'm caring for a puppers in my own home, I make sure they have everything they need to be comfortable and happy. That means providing plenty of food, water, toys, and a cozy place to sleep; as well as giving them plenty of love and attention, whether that's playing with them, taking them for walks, or just snuggling up on the couch. If I'm caring for a pet in their own home, I'll work closely with the owner to make sure I'm providing the best possible care. That might mean following a specific feeding or exercise routine, or making sure the pet has access to their favorite toys and treats. And of course, I always make sure to keep the home clean and tidy, so you come back to a happy, healthy space. At the end of the day, caring for pets is all about love and attention. And whether they're in your home or your client's home, it's important to treat them like family.

Information Kathryn H. would like to know about your pet

When it comes to caring for dogs, there's a lot of important information that I need to know ahead of time. First and foremost, I need to know about their temperament and behavior. Are they friendly and social, or do they prefer to be left alone? Do they have any history of aggression or anxiety? Understanding their personality is key to making sure they feel safe and comfortable while under my care. I also need to know about their health and medical history. Do they have any allergies or medical conditions that require special attention? Are they up to date on their vaccinations and preventative care? This information is crucial to ensuring their overall well-being while they're with me. Other important details include their feeding and exercise routines, any training or behavior modification they're currently working on, and any specific preferences or habits they have. The more I know about the dog ahead of time, the better equipped I am to provide the best possible care and create a happy and healthy experience for them. At the end of the day, caring for dogs is all about understanding their unique needs and personalities. And by gathering as much information as possible ahead of time, I can ensure that they have the best possible experience while under my care.

A typical day

Well, a typical day for me when I'm caring for dogs is all about making sure they have a fun and fulfilling experience. And that starts from the moment they wake up. In the morning, we'll start with a nice walk or run, depending on the dog's energy level and preferences. It's important to me to give them plenty of exercise and fresh air, so they can start the day off on the right foot. After that, we'll have breakfast and any give medicine (if necessary) or treats (if allowed) In the afternoon, we might go for another walk by the pond, play fetch in a fenced area near-by my house, or stroll the trails here on our property. And of course, there's always plenty of time for cuddles and belly rubs throughout the day. As for special places to go on walks, I like to mix it up depending on the dog's preferences. Whatever the case may be, I always make sure to take them somewhere they'll enjoy and feel comfortable. Overall, my goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for the dogs I care for, and to give them all the love and attention they deserve.

I'm a stay-at-home mom who has a whole lotta love to give - especially to dogs. I've been taking care of pups for as long as I can remember, and I'm dedicated to providing them with all the care and attention they need. You see, as a stay-at-home mom, I've got plenty of time to devote to my furry friends. Whether it's taking them for walks, playing fetch, or just cuddling up on the couch, I'm always there for them. And I know how important it is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for dogs when their owners are away. That's why I've created a home away from home for pups - a place where they can feel loved and cared for while their owners are out and about. I've got a spacious home and yard, with plenty of room for dogs to run and play. And because I'm home most of the day, I can offer one-on-one attention to each and every pup that stays with me. From feeding and grooming to snuggles and belly rubs, I'll make sure your furry friend feels right at home. So if you're looking for a loving and reliable caregiver for your dog, look no further. I'm here to give your furry friend all the attention and care they deserve.
