Pet care experience
I’ll look after your pet like it’s my own. I have had pets from German shepherds to cats to Guinea pigs to rats since childhood. I’ve had puppies and cared for seniors in their old age. I don’t currently have my own dog but my parents live close by and they have a lovely friendly 18 month old husky that I often take for walks. For boarding and walks, your pet/s will be looked after individually as I only care for one person’s pet/s at a time to ensure they get the best love and attention.

Kathryn is a lovely lady who immediately put our dog (Roxy) at easy. She definitely treated Roxy like her own dog and it was obvious to see that Roxy responded to that. I felt confident leaving Roxy with Kathryn and would 100% recommend Kathryn as an excellent, reliable dog boarder.
Kathryn was great. We are so pleased. Good communication and excellent at understanding our dog. Highly recommend and will book with her again.

I have a secure, fenced garden and there are plenty of countryside walking routes. Your dog can be crated at night, or sleep in the downstairs hallway. I’m also happy to have their bed in my bedroom if that’s what they’re used to, or if they won’t settle downstairs.

A typical day
I can walk your dog in local parks, fields and woods. I’m used to keeping dogs on the lead or allowing them off lead to run free when I judge it safe to do so. Obviously helps if your dog/s have great recall! We will also play games in the garden eg chase and fetch.

Availability
I mostly work from home in a flexible role so have plenty of time to meet your pet’s needs. I love walking and know all the safe routes nearby, plus places where dogs can play together or be off lead if required.
