Hi there, I'm Kathryn! I am a freelance professional with a flexible schedule and ability to work remotely. For the several years in Denver I have been sitting for many families in the community and their furry friends. It brings me such joy! I do this because I absolutely love animals. I am also passionate about helping pet and homeowners feel at ease having someone you trust caring for your home while you’re away so you can relax and enjoy. Previously, I was also a foster dog mom for Colorado Greyhound Adoption, and most recently Ruth was my 8 year-old foster dog. I had her for almost 6 months and helped her turn from a shy, anxious dog to friendly and loving with the right care. I tend to have a calming presence that puts animals at ease :) In the past, I also took care of my roommates’ two large 8 year-old golden doodles and 1.5 year-old golden/cattle dog mix daily while they were at work. I would give them lots of love and attention while their owners were away all day due to my remote work. Over the years, I have sat for a variety of dogs, cats and other pets and enjoy their unique personalities and needs. I've sat for and helped train young dogs and also for elderly dogs and cats as well. Each animal is a unique spirit and I enjoy learning all their quirks and preferences so they and you feel at ease while you are traveling or out doing your thing. Know that any animals in my care are shown lots of love and care. In terms of your home, I always make it a point to leave the house I am staying in very clean so that when you return you are welcomed with a beautiful space. I will make sure you've got fresh, emptied garbage bags in the house and wash sheets and towels if you like. Whatever you need to have an easy, stress-free return to your furry family!
