Pet care experience
Your pet is king or queen when they stay with us. We only host one family at a time so we can shower attention and affection on them. My husband Doug and I have had pets all of our lives. We lost our last fur baby, Ditto, right before the pandemic. She was 17. We love to take dog walks, play with your pet (if they are active) and of course, make sure your fur baby(s) are in a safe and caring environment. My husband is retired and I am semi-retired but work from home We have plenty of time to play with your fur baby. And lots of energy for taking walks. We are now live in Schertz Texas and want to continue caring for fur babies in our new home. Our backyard is fenced and secure.

As always Kathryn and Doug took excellent care of our little dog. Lots of snuggles and long walks with our older dog. I think our much-loved pet misses them when we bring her home.
Kathryn and Doug were wonderful they watched our dogs for a week and we very frequently got pictures, videos, and updates on them. Our dog were more sad to leave them than they were happy to see us! We would definitely use them again for our next vacation !
Kathryn and Doug are wonderful! When we first met them, we got an excellent first impression. They are very warm and friendly and was great with our pets! During our time away Kathryn and Doug sent us photos of our babies having fun which was really nice. I recommend them and we look forward to having them take care of our babies in the future. We offer 3 30 minute visits per day. We will also water your indoor plants and pick up your mail. Book us under House Sitting For this service.

A typical day
I like to keep your dog as active as they are able to be. For active dogs, we will go on walks and may even visit a dog park nearby. We will play games, frisbee, hide and go seek, chasing balls, etc. There will also be ample time to just relax and cuddle.

Availability
We are home most of the time. We play pickleball for a couple of hours 3 times a week. I do all of my work from home and work my own schedule. We have plenty of time for play and walks.
