My love for dogs began with my very first dog, a goofy and loving Bichon Frise named Lola. While she's with my mom in Colorado, I have moved to Brooklyn after graduating from Colorado College last May where I studied Studio Art. Not only do I thoroughly enjoy working with all kinds of animals, but I am also a creative/crafty person, extremely reliable, clean, and I really enjoy being active and getting outside as much as possible! I feel comfortable working with a variety of dogs across sizes and breeds, and I would love the opportunity to take your precious animal(s) on long strolls around Brooklyn, hang out and play in the park, or perhaps even just stay at home and cuddle on lazy days!

I have a 7 year old German shepherd named Roscoe. Roscoe doesn't take to many, so its difficult for me to find reliable dog walkers Roscoe can trust. Kathryn was very gentle but assertive when meeting Roscoe, and is the only person that has been able to walk him without me worrying about whether they can handle it. I have a very busy work schedule, and Kathryn is great at being on top of scheduling and hasn't cancelled ever on me.
Kathryn has been the consistent caretaker for my two dogs for several years now. She is punctual, good natured, and clearly has had a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs. She is quick to learn and can accommodate any special needs that a dog may have. I can honestly say that my dogs look forward to me leaving town so that they get to spend time with Kathryn!
Kathryn walked my dog several times over the summer when I was unable to do so. After the first couple of times, Olive (my Bichon) sat at the door awaiting Kathryn's arrival. Olive knew when Kathryn showed up at the door, it was going to be a fun time as they instantly bonded. Kathryn also watched Olive overnight at my house when I needed to be out of town for a couple of nights and when I returned, Olive was very relaxed and happy and my home was just as I left it. Kathryn has a way with animals that is special and I am happy to recommend her.
Kathryn is extremely responsible and trustworthy as a pet-sitter. She is obviously a huge lover of animals and is very committed to giving each pet the love and attention it deserves while their owner is away. I love that she also sends active pictures updating me on how my animals are doing! Kathryn is very attentive to each of their own personalities and specific dietary concerns. I would absolutely recommend Kathryn for all your pet-sitting needs.
